We are a family run private day nursery and pre school and we have refurbished a large open plan   ground floor building for the purposes of providing exceptional care for the following age groups:

Explorers Suite (3-18mths)

     At KidVenture we understand how precious and unique your baby is and we adapt our care to your baby’s individual needs.  We strive to mirror the home routine in the nursery setting and draw on the Early Years Foundation stage to support your babies learning and development.

     Our staff send home a daily diary for you to feel comfortable with the knowledge of your child’s well being and progress.

     We foster your child’s curious nature by offering messy play on a daily basis; this includes mash potato, play dough, painting, sand/water and other experiments in the senses such as ball pools and shredded paper.

Scout Troop (18mths-3yrs)

     From around the age of 18 months children begin require more structure and are ready to learn independent skills.  We introduce a daily routine which provides stability and encourage a freedom of choice between activities.

     We encourage role play in our home corner which can be changed to stimulate children’s imagination and creativity and teach them about the world around us.

     Our staff have creative activities available on a daily basis and encourage the learning experiences provided by our messy play philosophy.

     In addition, children enjoy trips to the library, park, train and fire station and enjoy our facilities in the garden daily (weather permitting)

Little Pioneers Pre-School (3-5)

     We provide an outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum planned weekly using observations and assessment to inform this.  Children learn best by doing and learning experiences are fun, imaginative and most of all “hands on”.

     KidVenture boasts its own ICT area where each child learns computer skills and mouse control through education and interactive software.

     Our staff are supported by an Early Years Advisory Teacher who ensures we are abreast of the latest techniques in teaching and education.

Kanga Kids Holiday Club (5-8)

     We host a Holiday Club every half term and throughout the summer holiday.  Children are offered fun and stimulating activities and are involved in deciding the rules of the CLUB.  We provide for all their nutritional requirements during the day – so all you need to do is book them in and drop them off!
